Satoshi Hisai (久井 聡, Hisai Satoshi) is a character featured in Yakuza 4. He is the chief of the Community Safety Division within the Kamurocho Police Department.

Hisai is a kind officer, and is shown to be hold deep guilt over his loyalty to the corrupt Munakata.
Background[]
In 1985, Hisai was a low-ranking officer of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. At some point, he fell under the control of Seishiro Munakata, acting as an assassin for him. Eventually, Hisai brought Masayoshi Tanimura into Community Safety, "[risking his] neck" in doing so.
Involvement[]
Yakuza 4: 2010[]
On March 8th, Hisai receives reports of Masayoshi Tanimura gambling on duty, and finds the former at the police station, issuing him a warning. The next day, he receives a call from Junji Sugiuchi, detailing Tanimura's contact with the Ueno Seiwa Clan. He rushes over to Little Asia, in search of Tanimura before he gets into danger. He eventually meets Tanimura there, and after hearing details about the Ueno Seiwa Hit from him, he brings up with the idea of searching Archive Room 13 at police headquarters, in order to garner evidence about Isao Katsuragi's involvement with the hit. Upon being asked to accompany Tanimura to headquarters, he struggles, but gives in. He then rides in a taxi with Tanimura to headquarters, helps him search through the archive room, then stays at headquarters.
The next day, Hisai receives orders from Seishiro Munakata to kill Sugiuchi, Tanimura, Zhao, and Mei Hua. He locates Sugiuchi and Tanimura, and kills Sugiuchi, however spares Tanimura. Subsequently, he calls Munakata, informing him that he had killed Sugiuchi and Tanimura. He then heads Homeland to visit Zhao and Mei Hua. He enters Homeland, and ties up Zhao and Mei Hua. He proceeds to call Munakata, saying "Both of them will be dealt with," before taking his own life, sparing the lives of Zhao and Mei Hua.
